Real Madrid star Vinicius Junior received a special message of congratulations from his Brazil teammate Neymar after being named The Best FIFA Men’s Player.
Neymar took to social media to celebrate Vinicius’s success, sharing a photo of the Real Madrid star holding his trophy with the caption: “Congrats Vini. Well deserved. Very happy for you. Keep flying.”
This achievement comes shortly after Vinicius narrowly missed out on the Ballon d’Or in October, which was awarded to Manchester City midfielder Rodri.
Despite this, Vinicius’s impressive performances this season are undeniable. In just 20 appearances across all competitions, the forward has recorded an impressive 13 goals and nine assists.
The accolades might not stop here for Vinicius. Real Madrid are set to face Mexican club Pachuca in the Intercontinental Cup final in Qatar on Wednesday. Vinicius will undoubtedly be looking to add another trophy to his growing collection as he continues his stellar season.
