The Adamawa State Police Command is appealing to the public for assistance in locating the family of a child abandoned at People’s Hotel in Nasarawa community, Demsa Local Government Area of the state.
The command’s spokesperson, SP Suleiman Nguroje, disclosed this in a statement released on Wednesday, 18th December 2024. He stated that the child was left unattended at the hotel reception by her mother.
According to the PPRO, the unidentified woman informed those at the reception that she intended to purchase food for her child but subsequently failed to return.
“Any useful information that will aid investigation to trace the child’s parents or relatives will be appreciated. Please contact the Police Public Relations Officer (PPRO) Adamawa State Command. Through 08065604764,” the statement read.
