A woman named Sarah Ayinde is being sought by the police after allegedly setting her husband, Abidemi Ayinde, ablaze in the Iperu area of Ogun State.
The incident occurred on 12th December when a minor dispute between the couple, who reside at No. 20 Igboore Street, escalated. Abidemi Ayinde, a special constable with the Ogun State Police Command, sustained injuries from the fire.
He has been hospitalised, and the police are actively pursuing the apprehension of his wife.
The division’s crime branch is currently conducting further investigations into the matter.
