A TV model has been given a six-month suspended prison sentence and fined £1,500 after admitting to making a false rape claim against AC Milan defender Theo Hernandez.
Luisa Kremleva, 28, struck a plea bargain with prosecutors, avoiding a potential two-year jail term. She had previously attempted to delay the trial by having her lawyer claim a “medical emergency”.
Kremleva admitted to perjury by claiming Hernandez, 27, raped her in the back of a Porsche outside a Marbella nightclub.
However, investigators quickly dismissed her claims, citing CCTV footage that contradicted her account. They also obtained a phone message from Kremleva to Hernandez at 6:15 am, two hours after the alleged rape, in which she repeatedly asked him to go home with her.
Kremleva has been warned that she will serve the prison sentence if she re-offends within the next two years.
