The family of the late Nigerian singer, Ilerioluwa Aloba, better known as Mohbad, have reportedly received the results of a private post-mortem examination and toxicology analysis conducted to determine the cause of his death.
Following the inconclusive results of the post-mortem examination conducted by the Lagos State Government, which was subsequently rejected by the family, the Coroner’s Court in Ikorodu, Lagos, granted the family permission in June 2024 to conduct an independent investigation. This decision came amidst suspicions surrounding the singer’s untimely demise.
According to The Punch, a family source revealed on Thursday that the private post-mortem examination results have been available since December.
The forensic pathologist engaged by the family is now awaiting the opportunity to present the findings in court.
