A banker identified as Ifeoma was reportedly killed by suspected kidnappers in Anambra State, despite the payment of a ransom.
The incident occurred after Ifeoma was abducted in Onitsha.
Human rights activist Harrison Gwamnishi confirmed the tragic event on Facebook, stating that the kidnappers demanded and received a ransom, but still murdered Ifeoma and dumped her body near Ideani junction along the Nnobi/Alor road.
Gwamnishi expressed concern over the escalating violence, stating, “Lives are being taken daily and it’s sad nothing is being done to end all this k!llings. WHO IS NEXT? If we keep fold our hands and do nothing, it may get to you.”
