Singer Speed Darlington has finally been arraigned by the Nigeria Police Force, according to his lawyer, Deji Adeyanju.
In a post on X, Adeyanju stated that the court granted Speed’s bail application, and efforts are underway to fulfill the bail conditions.
Speed has been in police detention since November 2024 after allegedly jumping bail. This follows an investigation initiated by his colleague, Burna Boy, who filed a police petition claiming defamation.
Burna Boy alleged that Speed defamed him in a December video where he insinuated that Burna won a Grammy award by “bending down” for Diddy.
