The Anambra State Government has demolished a hotel that was being used as a front for a kidnappers’ den.
The demolition was announced on X by the official account of the Anambra State New Media office.
The hotel, known as Udoka Golden Point Hotel and Suites, also referred to as “La Cruise Hotel”, is located along the Onitsha Owerri road in Oba, Idemili South LGA.
During the demolition, authorities discovered at least 30 partitioned graves and a shrine within the hotel premises.
The X account managed by the New Media Office of Governor Soludo shared a video of the demolition, stating: “Oba, Idemili South LGA!
Demolition of kidnappers den disguised as Udoka Golden Point Hotel and Suites AKA “La Cruise Hotel” along Onitsha Owerri road. The hotel has well-partitioned graves of over 30 on the last floor with a shrine!!”
