A gateman in Kanifing Estate, Gambia, has been accused of having an affair with his employer’s wife and subsequently forced to do push-ups as punishment.
The employer, who goes by the name Gully Side on social media, confirmed the incident to journalists on Wednesday.
“In the morning, everyone leaves for work. He was alone at home with my wife, and I saw them with my own eyes. They were very close, but said it was just jokes,” the employer stated. He further accused the gateman of stealing his television and other household items.
When questioned about whether he had divorced his wife due to the alleged affair, the employer replied, “The matter is in court.”
