Hon. Justice Azuka, a member of the Anambra State House of Assembly, has been found dead days after being kidnapped in Onitsha.
Azuka, who represented Onitsha North Constituency 1 under the Labour Party (LP), was abducted at gunpoint on 24th December 2024, while returning home on Ugwunaobankpa Road. His decomposing body was later discovered at the 2nd Niger Bridge by security operatives.
Reports confirm that the kidnappers have been arrested and led security forces to where they dumped his body.
This tragic incident adds to the rising insecurity in Anambra State, where kidnappings and violent attacks have become frequent.
