Nigerian Army Kills Four Bandits, Captures One in Zamfara

Nigerian Army troops of Operation Fansan Yanma neutralised four armed criminals and captured one suspect during a night operation in Nasarawa village, Anka Local Government Area of Zamfara State.

The operation, which took place in the late hours of 10th February 2025 and continued into the early hours of Monday morning, targeted a notorious hideout of bandits terrorising the area, according to intelligence sources who spoke with security analyst Zagazola Makama.

Following credible intelligence, troops launched a decisive assault, engaging the bandits in a fierce battle. Four of the criminals were neutralised, while another suspect was successfully captured and taken into custody for further investigation.

Among those killed was a well-known individual from Nasarawa village, who had long been suspected of involvement in criminal activities.

This latest success is part of intensified efforts by the Nigerian Military to eliminate bandit groups operating in the region and restore peace to affected communities.
