Nigerian music icon Tuface Idibia has confirmed his romantic involvement with Edo lawmaker Natasha Osawaru, addressing speculation surrounding his ongoing divorce from his wife, Annie Idibia.
In a viral video, Tuface dismissed claims that Natasha was responsible for the breakdown of his marriage, stating, “I have seen so many things, so many people coming up with their own false and malicious nonsense after I posted what I posted.”
He described Natasha as a “beautiful, smart, and amazing young woman” whom he loves and intends to marry, but clarified that she played no part in his separation from Annie.
Tuface emphasised that he and Annie are not in conflict and that they both understand the reasons behind their separation.
The couple, married since 2012, had reportedly been living apart for some time before filing for divorce earlier this year.
In a surprising turn of events, 2Baba took to his Instagram account in January to confirm his separation from Annie after years of a highly publicized relationship and marriage. He also revealed that he had filed for divorce. However, the initial post was deleted, with claims that his account had been hacked. Despite this, 2Baba later shared a brief video confirming that he indeed intends to divorce Annie.
It was later revealed that Annie was allegedly in rehab amid the marital troubles with 2Baba.
