Amidst the ongoing furore surrounding singer 2face Idibia’s divorce from his wife, Annie Macaulay, and his public declaration of love for his new fiancée, Natasha Osawaru, his mother, Rose Idibia, has made her position clear.
As you may recall, Innocent Idibia, known as 2face or 2baba, recently announced his proposal to Natasha, granddaughter of the Esama of Benin and billionaire philanthropist, Gabriel Igbenedion. The singer shared a post on his Instagram page expressing his love for Natasha and his desire to marry her.
This news comes just weeks after 2face revealed his separation and impending divorce from his wife of 13 years, actress Annie Macaulay.

In response to her son’s new relationship, Mrs. Rose Idibia released a video appealing to Natasha to “free” her son.
She alleges that the Edo state lawmaker placed “beads” on 2face’s “hands and neck,” which many have interpreted as the use of black magic or “juju.”
Mrs. Idibia claims that 2face is not in his “right mind” following his divorce from Annie. She also implored Nigerians, particularly mothers, to urge Natasha to “free” her son.
The video was shared by 2face’s brothers, Hyacinth and Charles Idibia, on their respective Instagram pages.
