Kanye West and Bianca Censori Heading for Divorce After Grammys Red Carpet Stunt

Kanye West and Bianca Censori are reportedly heading for divorce, just 11 days after her controversial red carpet appearance at the Grammys.

The couple, who married in December 2022, are believed to have verbally agreed that Censori will receive a £5 million payment following their brief marriage.

A source close to West, 47, confirmed that the pair have split, with legal proceedings expected to formalise the end of the marriage soon. Censori, 30, is said to be staying in their £35 million Beverly Park North home in Los Angeles for the time being. West’s whereabouts remain unclear, though some speculate he may return to Tokyo, Japan, where he spent much of the previous year living in a hotel.

During the 2nd February Grammys, Censori appeared visibly uncomfortable on the red carpet when West instructed her to drop her fur coat and “make a scene.” She reluctantly followed his directions. Friends of West insisted the stunt was his artistic vision, and it was also meant to mimic the cover of his album Vultures 2.

The following day, West took to X (formerly Twitter) to praise his wife, writing, “My wife’s first red carpet opened a whole new world. I keep staring at this photo like I was staring in admiration that night Thinking wow I am so lucky to have a wife that is so smart talented brave and hot.” He continued, “She took a break from shooting her first film to make a movie in real life We Tailored that invisible dress 6 times And just like magic poof we disappeared.”

In the aftermath of the Grammys, West faced backlash for a series of anti-Semitic remarks on X, where he referred to himself as a Nazi and expressed admiration for Adolf Hitler. He also aired an advertisement for his clothing line during the Super Bowl, featuring a £20 t-shirt with a Nazi swastika design. The ad was removed by Shopify within 24 hours.

West was banned from X but returned to the platform on Thursday, 13th February, after deleting many of his offensive posts. He later claimed his controversial comments were part of a “social experiment.”
