In Katsina State’s Malumfashi Local Government Area, armed bandits kidnapped a father and his son.
The incident occurred in Malumfashi town on the night of Wednesday, 26th February 2025.
The assailants entered the town and fired shots to intimidate residents. Following a violent exchange of gunfire with security personnel, the bandits abducted Alhaji Balan Auwal and his son, Saifullahi.
This kidnapping comes just two days after a separate bandit attack in Tafoki village, where three people were killed.
