Kenny Okulogbo, the media consultant to Senate President Godswill Akpabio, has dismissed the sexual harassment allegations made by Senator Natasha Akpoti as “fabrications.”
Speaking with Punch, Okulogbo claimed that Akpoti’s accusations stemmed from frustration over her removal as Chair of the Senate Committee on Local Content. He described the claims as “tissues of lies.”
He said: “All that Senator Natasha said are all tissues of lies. She is just angry because she was removed as the Chairman of the Senate Committee on Local Content. The Senate President will respond. We will make an official statement soon.”
Earlier in the day, Senator Akpoti, representing Kogi Central, appeared on Arise TV, where she accused Senate President Akpabio of sexual harassment and blocking her motions in the Senate after she rejected his advances.
